Unlimited Basement Finishing System™️ walls are Class A fire rated complying to the International Building Code (IBC) and the International Residential Code (IRC) requirements for interior wall finishes.
If a drywall basement develops mold over time, someday when you sell your home the purchaser may discover this (typically during a home inspection) and demand that it be removed. Our sturdy walls are 1” or 21⁄2” (depending on requirements) thick and made from premium products. The walls are thermally insulated (up to an R-19) to reduce heat loss, which could lead to cost savings on your heating and cooling bills. This means no maintenance cost — as opposed to adding on an addition which will need to be heated, cooled, and maintained, making your home more expensive to live in.
