business; we believe in building safer homes and stronger communities. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce the launch of the Climb Out Fund, a heartfelt initiative designed to give back to families in need right here in the Fox Cities.

Through this annual program, one deserving family will be selected to receive a FREE egress window package—a vital safety upgrade that could mean the difference between life and death in the event of an emergency. But this initiative is about so much more than just windows. It’s about hope, dignity, and the power of a community coming together to support one another.

Why the Climb Out Fund?

Every home should be a safe place. But unfortunately, many
families live without the proper emergency exits, especially in finished
basements or lower levels of their homes. Egress windows provide a secure and accessible escape route during fires, natural disasters, or other emergencies.
They’re not just a home improvement, they’re a life-saving necessity.

With the Climb Out Fund, we aim to eliminate the financial burden of installing an egress window for a local family who needs it most. Whether due to unexpected hardship, tight finances, or other challenges, we want to make sure everyone has the chance to climb out to safety.

Program Details

We’re excited to share the timeline and details of how this special program will unfold:

🔹 Applications Open: June 1st, 2025

We encourage homeowners in the Fox Cities area to apply or nominate someone they know, starting June 1st. The application process is simple, and our goal is to reach as many deserving families as possible.

🔹 Eligibility

This year, the program is open exclusively to homeowners in the Fox Cities region. As the initiative grows, we hope to expand into other locations and help even more communities benefit from the safety and comfort that egress windows bring.

🔹 Review Process

Applications will be thoughtfully reviewed by a selection
committee comprised of our dedicated staff and experienced foremen. This diverse group ensures a fair and balanced review process, with each application given the attention it deserves.

🔹 Application close: September 1st, 2025

The selected family will be announced the following week, and we’ll notify them through multiple channels: email, phone, and text, to ensure they receive the exciting news right away.

🔹 Installation: Fire Prevention Week (October 5–11, 2025)

To highlight the importance of home safety, the installation
will take place during National Fire Prevention Week, scheduled for October 5–11, 2025. The specific installation date will be chosen in collaboration with the selected family to ensure it fits their schedule.

An egress window is more than just a building code requirement. It’s a critical safety feature that provides:

• Emergency Exit Access: In the event of a fire or flood, an egress window can provide a life-saving escape route from a basement or lower-level living space.
• Natural Light and Ventilation: Egress windows enhance livability by bringing light and fresh air into below-ground rooms, turning basements into brighter, more inviting spaces.
• Property Value: Installing an egress window is often a necessary step in turning a basement into a legal bedroom, ultimately increasing the value and usability of the home.
